Free tier has limits (image-based videos 30s–2 min, long-form AI video clips locked to 30 seconds on the Free tier, 1 video profile, one linked YouTube channel via Google sign-in, 1 YouTube AI agent—scheduled runs use your credits, and 1 AI video). The AI clips playground includes one complimentary 5s / 720p clip; additional or higher-quality AI clips require a paid plan (welcome credits apply to other features). Upgrade for monthly credits, longer videos, more channel slots (Starter adds up to 3), and more agents.
Costs are estimated before each job runs. Image-based long-form videos use 1 credit per minute of length. AI-generated long-form video (scene-based) uses 5 credits per minute. AI clips in the app are short text-to-video or image-to-video: the free plan includes one 5s / 720p clip, then per-clip credits (720p vs 1080p shown before you run). Other features (e.g. image generation) have their own rates in the app.
AI clips is the in-app place to make short videos from a prompt (text to video) or a still image (image to video). The free plan includes one complimentary 5s / 720p sample; on paid plans the app shows a per-run credit estimate. Clips are separate from the main long-form video flow and are priced per clip, not per minute.
At 5 seconds and 720p, each short AI clip costs 0.5 credit in the app on paid plans. 10s / 720p costs 1 credit; 1080p is 2× the 720p price for the same length. Maximum 5s/720p AI clips if you used every monthly credit only for that (and nothing else): Free — one complimentary clip only (more AI clips require a paid plan; welcome credits are for other features); Starter (40 cr/mo) — up to 80/mo; Pro (120 cr/mo) — up to 240/mo; Premium (300 cr/mo) — up to 600/mo. In practice, long-form video, image generation, and agents will use credits too, so you may run fewer clip jobs.
